If you have tickets to the Ravens - Bengals game, win or lose, you won't come away empty handed.
The Ravens and Under Armour will provide over 71,000 fans with purple wrist bands in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. The bands will display the Ravens' and Under Armour's respective logo's, along with the emblem for the Wounded Warrior Project, if you were wondering.
"It's great to have local partners like Under Armour who recognize the importance of the Wounded Warrior cause," stated Mark Burdett, Ravens vice president of corporate sales and partnerships. "This is an opportunity to bring this cause to all of our fans on game day and recognize military members. Honoring these heroes is an important part of our civic obligation. We believe our fans will be excited to receive and wear these bracelets that celebrate the Ravens and Under Armour and support the Wounded Warrior cause."
The non-profit Wounded Warrior Project's mission is to raise awareness and to enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service members, to help severely injured men and women aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
Several U.S. military members who were recently wounded in battle will be honored on the field during the pre-game ceremonies.
