Dickson (knee) and Ellerbe (ankle) have been ruled out for the Ravens’ visit to the Redskins on Friday’s injury report. Dickson and Ellerbe will both will miss a second straight game.
There were some positive developments on the report, however. Cornerback Jimmy Smith (sports hernia) was elevated to doubtful after sitting out the Ravens’ last four games since suffering the injury. He was never considered out for the year, and the elevation in status indicates he could be back soon.
“Jimmy made progress,” coach John Harbaugh told reporters Friday. “He’s out there practicing. (He) did a nice job - moved around pretty well, broke up some scar tissue and things like that. That’s really important. He did a good job.”
One week after tearing his right biceps, linebacker Terrell Suggs is listed as questionable. On Friday, he was limited in practice for a second straight day. Cornerbacks Asa Jackson (shoulder) and Chris Johnson (thigh) are also listed as questionable.
The Ravens also listed eight players as probable: cornerback Chykie Brown (ankle), linebacker Josh Bynes (thigh), safety James Ihedigbo (calf), wideout Jacoby Jones (ankle), fullback Vonta Leach (ankle), defensive end Pernell McPhee (thigh), safety Bernard Pollard (chest) and safety Ed Reed (shoulder).
The Redskins reported that linebacker London Fletcher (ankle), cornerback DeAngelo Hall (ankle/knee) and tackle Trent Williams (thigh) are questionable against the Ravens.
Receiver Pierre Garcon (foot), punter Sav Rocca (right knee) and cornerback Josh Wilson (shoulder) are probable.
