Webb, Yanda to make preseason debuts, McPhee out vs. Panthers

The Ravens welcome two of their top players back to action tonight in their preseason home finale.

Cornerback Lardarius Webb and guard Marshal Yanda return to play after sitting out Baltimore’s first two exhibition contests. Webb was out as the team eased him in coming back from knee surgery. Yanda was limited at the start of training camp coming off of offseason shoulder surgery.

As for who won’t be suiting up for the Ravens tonight, there’s just one surprise - outside linebacker Pernell McPhee, who didn’t practice Tuesday.

Newly acquired tailback Delone Carter, linebacker Jameel McClain (spinal contusion), defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore (knee), center Ryan Jensen (foot), wideout Deonte Thompson (foot), tight end Ed Dickson (hamstring) and tight end Dennis Pitta (hip) round out the Ravens’ scratches.

The Panthers scratched wideouts Armanti Edwards, Joe Adams and Domenik Hixon, fullbacks Mike Tolbert and Michael Zordich, guards Edmund Kugbila and Tori Mobley, tight end Ben Hartsock, linebacker Chase Blackburn, defensive end Mario Addison and defensive tackle Frank Kearse.
