Ray Rice returned to practice Wednesday and was able to participate in a limited capacity each of the last three days, but that doesn’t guarantee he’ll be on the field come Sunday.
The Ravens have listed Rice as questionable for this week’s game in Buffalo as the tailback works to return from a left hip flexor injury.
“We’re hoping (Rice will) get there. He’s got a better chance than he had last week,” coach John Harbaugh told reporters Friday. “He has practiced, to an extent, throughout the course of the week, and we’ll know on Sunday. We’ve got our fingers crossed.”
Wideout Jacoby Jones (knee) has been ruled out while defensive tackle Terrence Cody (knee) and center Ryan Jensen (foot) are doubtful.
Joining Rice as questionable are linebacker Arthur Brown (chest), defensive end Chris Canty (thigh), tailback Shaun Draughn (ankle), defensive end Pernell McPhee (knee), wideout Brandon Stokley (groin), wideout Deonte Thompson (foot) and defensive tackle Brandon Williams (toe).
Brown and Canty were inactive for last week’s game.
Receiver Marlon Brown (neck) is listed as probable for the contest.
Harbaugh called the rest of the injured players not named Rice “game-time decisions.”
“They all have a chance to get there, and we’re really hopeful in each one of their cases that they can play, but something could come up,” Harbaugh said. “It could not feel right on Sunday, then they might not be able to play. So I doubt it will be 100 percent, but we’d love for it to be 100 percent.”
The Bills have ruled out defensive back Ron Brooks (foot), defensive tackle Alex Carrington (quad), cornerback Stephon Gilmore (wrist), wideout Marquise Goodwin (hand) and kicker Dustin Hopkins (groin).
Free safety Jairus Byrd (foot) and cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) are questionable while the following are probable: defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (ankle), receiver Stevie Johnson (hamstring), guard Doug Legursky (knee), running back C.J. Spiller (quad), guard Kraig Urbik (knee), defensive tackle Kyle Williams (achilles) and defensive end Mario Williams (ankle).
