When it comes to wideout Brandon Stokley and tight end Billy Bajema, it's almost like the Ravens have a 54-man roster.
The roster-crunch carousel continued Tuesday when Baltimore officially re-signed Stokley and cut Bajema. Again.
The Ravens had released Stokley, 37, on Saturday in order to have Bajema, 30, on the roster Sunday in Miami, when Baltimore managed to win despite dressing only three receivers. Bajema has been cut and re-signed multiple times by the Ravens since returning to the team this offseason.
Stokley has appeared in three games for the Ravens this season, making nine catches for 79 yards. Bajema has played in all five games.
The Ravens' ability to cut and re-sign the two of them off and on gives the team the luxury of choosing to go with a veteran wideout in Stokley or a blocking tight end in Bajema as needed.
