Jackson to active roster, Osemele to IR (plus injury report)

The Ravens announced this afternoon that cornerback Asa Jackson has been added to the active roster after being suspended for the first eight games of the season for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

To make room on the 53-man roster, guard Kelechi Osemele was placed on season-ending injured reserve. Osemele is expected to undergo back surgery soon.

Osemele was the only Ravens player officially ruled out for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati.

Cornerback Corey Graham (calf), safety James Ihedigbo (toe), cornerback Jimmy Smith (thigh), linebacker Daryl Smith (thigh) and wideout Brandon Stokley (thigh) were listed as questionable. Receiver Marlon Brown (finger) and linebacker Terrell Suggs (foot) are probable for the contest.

The Bengals have ruled out linebacker Rey Maualuga (knee) and defensive tackle Devon Still (elbow). Linebacker Mike Boley (hamstring) is doubtful while tailback Giovani Bernard (ribs) and tight end Jermaine Gresham (groin) are questionable. Guard Kevin Zeitler (hamstring) is probable.
