While it’s not clear whether the concussion sustained by Art Jones Sunday will keep him from playing against the Bengals, it hasn’t allowed him to practice so far this week.
The Ravens defensive tackle was unable to take the field Thursday and hasn’t been able to do so this week, which could be bad news for the team. Jones has been an integral part of Baltimore’s defense this season, ranking fourth on the team with four sacks and eighth with 53 tackles.
Playing without him would be quite a blow to the Ravens when they go up against the league’s 10th-ranked offense in Cincinnati Sunday.
Cornerback Asa Jackson (thigh) was also unable to practice Thursday while four players were limited: linebacker Elvis Dumervil (ankle), center Gino Gradkowski (knee), tailback Ray Rice (thigh) and wideout Torrey Smith (thigh).
Linebacker Albert McClellan practiced fully despite a neck injury.
