Harbaugh names four offensive coordinator candidates, updates search

Coach John Harbaugh provided a detailed update on the Ravens' search for a new offensive coordinator in an interview with the team's website Tuesday.

Harbaugh named Ravens wide receivers coach Jim Hostler, former Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan and former Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan as candidates who have already interviewed while adding that Steelers running backs coach Kirby Wilson will interview later this week.

Harbaugh said he has interviewed one to two coaches a day since Jim Caldwell was hired as the Lions' head coach last week, with candidates coming from both the professional and college levels.

Harbaugh explained that he wants to hire a coordinator that fits the Ravens' offensive philosophy - aggressive, physical, creative and downhill attacking. The Baltimore coach doesn't know when he'll make his hire, but he doesn't want the process to take much longer.
