As expected, Ed Reed and Brendon Ayanbadejo will make their 2010 season debuts today.
Both of the PUP boys have been added to the Ravens’ 53-man roster, and both are active today against the Bills.
I swear I saw more Reed jerseys on my way into the stadium today than I would in a normal week. I guess Charm City is happy to have their six-time Pro Bowl safety back.
Tight end Todd Heap is active today despite being listed as questionable with a neck injury. Heap will have a chance to post some big numbers against a Bills defense which has struggled against tight ends.
Well, they’ve struggled against everyone, but you get my point.
Defensive end Paul Kruger is also active today, meaning he’ll play for the first time since injuring his knee three weeks ago against the Steelers.
Here are the Ravens’ inactives today:
WR David Reed, WR Donte’ Stallworth, S Ken Hamlin, S Tom Zbikowski, LB Tavares Gooden, T Scott Kooistra, DT Art Jones, and DT Lamar Divens.
The Bills will be without two starters today; CB Terrence McGee and OT Cornell Green are inactive this afternoon.
Here are the Bills’ inactives:
QB Levi Brown, CB Terrence McGee, LB Keith Ellison, LB Aaron Maybin, T Ed Wang, T Cornell Green, DE Alex Carrington, and DE John McCargo.
A handful of members of the 2000 Super Bowl team are starting to line the sidelines. Trent Dilfer, Matt Stover, Tony Siragusa and others are gearing up for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Ravens’ championship.
Should be a fun afternoon here at M&T Bank Stadium. Back with more in a bit.
