The coaching carousel apparently continues to turn.
The Ravens have fired offensive line coach John Matsko, and will promote assistant offensive line coach Andy Moeller, according to The Sun.
Matsko had spent the last three years as the Ravens’ O-line coach. This year, his group struggled up front, allowing 40 sacks. The issues with the line were also visible in the rushing game, where the Ravens averaged just 3.8 yards per carry - 25th best in the NFL.
Moeller has also been with the Ravens for the last three years. He was arrested back in September for driving under the influence, a case which has not yet been resolved.
UPDATED: Matsko’s firing is official. The Ravens have announced that Matsko has been “relieved of his duties”.
The team has not named a replacement at this point.
