Ravens sneak by Bengals 13-7; finish with 12 wins

They won't be AFC North champs, but they will end the regular season with an impressive 12-4 record.

As the Steelers were busy crushing the Browns and locking up the AFC North title, the Ravens were fighting through an uninspired performance against the four-win Bengals.

Despite an ineffective offense and a defense which allowed a few long drives late in the game, the Ravens benefited from five Cincinnati turnovers, and held on for a 13-7 win.

Ed Reed had two interceptions, Chris Carr forced two fumbles, and Ray Rice paced the offense with 77 rushing yards and the Ravens' only touchdown.

It's their first win over the Bengals in four tries, and allows them to avoid a season sweep at the hands of Cincinnati for the second straight year.

Now, the Ravens will have to wait and see where they're headed.

Thanks to a Chiefs loss today, they would avoid facing Peyton Manning and the Colts if Indianapolis beats the Titans this afternoon.

If the Colts lose and the Jaguars win, Baltimore would face Jacksonville, and if both Indy and the Jags lose, the Ravens would see the Colts.

Got all that?

I'm heading down to the locker room now for postgame reactions. Back to clarify things in a bit.
