Reed's brother Brian, 29, is still missing after jumping into the Mississippi River to elude police on Friday. The search has since been called off, and there has been no news on the situation out of that area in the last couple days.
Ed Reed took part in a team walkthrough and meetings today, and will play in Saturday's Divisional Round game against the Steelers.
"Ed was here. Ed got back," head coach John Harbaugh said. "He practiced, he went through the meetings today. He got back for the meetings and he was in good spirits. He seemed like he was doing pretty well."
Reed chose not to speak to reporters in the Ravens' locker room after practice.
Linebacker Jarret Johnson said having Reed back was a big emotional lift to the team.
"Oh God, I mean nine picks in 10 games, the guy is unbelievable," Johnson said. "Just his presence on the field, and for him to go out and play the way he did going through what he did last week, I've just got that much more respect for the guy."
"'I knew he was coming back," running back Willis McGahee said. "He loves the game. As a team, we've got his back. As a friend, I've got his back."
