Cameron not concerned about Yanda's back injury

An already less-than-ideal Ravens offensive line makeup has taken a hit this week, as offensive guard/tackle Marshal Yanda has missed the last three practices with back spasms.

With Yanda out, offensive tackle Oniel Cousins has moved inside to Yanda's normal right guard spot, and rookie Jah Reid has taken the right tackle spot with the first-team offense.

It's a rotation that doesn't feature a lot of experience, and if Yanda is out long-term, Joe Flacco might need to take out an extra health insurance policy.

But offensive coordinator said today he isn't worried about Yanda's health.

"He's one of the toughest guys in that locker room," Cameron said. "I don't have any concerns with Marshal. My guess is he'll be out there. He's one of those guys you know you can count on."

When Yanda returns, as I discussed earlier, there's a chance that the Ravens move him to right tackle, where he played last season in a pinch.

Ideally, Yanda would get to stick at right guard, but Cameron said that moving him back over to tackle is something that the Ravens would consider.

"That's always a possibility," he said. "When you've got seven linemen active in a game, the guards can play tackle and you've got to have a couple guys that can play center. So, you're going to try and find a way to work your best five into some combination. It may not be ideal, but it's probably your best alternative. So, we'll come up with what we think is our best alternative."
