Yanda still absent; cornerback rotation stays the same

For the fifth straight day, offensive tackle Marshal Yanda is not taking part in practice.

Yanda, who is battling back spasms, is absent from today's afternoon session, and as has been the case this entire week, he is not on the field watching from the sidelines.

With Yanda out, rookie Jah Reid continues to get all the reps at right tackle - both with the first and second teams. The coaches apparently are trying to get the third-round pick as many snaps as possible here in camp.

Oniel Cousins lined up at right guard with the first-team early in practice, but undrafted rookie Justin Boren has gotten the reps with the ones at right guard for the last handful of series.

With Boren in, the right side of the Ravens' offensive line is made up of two rookies.

Cornerback Chris Carr (hamstring) also is not participating in practice today. He's missed the last two days after suffering the injury on Monday.

The Ravens' starting corners, for now, continue to be rookie Jimmy Smith and Cary Williams. Domonique Foxworth and Lardarius Webb are both mixing in with the ones at nickel back.

Linebacker Ray Lewis and wide receiver David Reed are not out for practice today. Reed (wrist) has practiced the last two days after coming off the Physcially Unable to Perform list.
