Four key Ravens missed practice today with various injuries.
You already know that wide receiver Lee Evans watched today’s afternoon session with his injured left ankle in a boot. Joining him on the sidelines today were cornerback Chris Carr (hamstring), left guard Ben Grubbs (toe) and cornerback Jimmy Smith (high left ankle sprain).
Grubbs missed last Friday’s practice because of a thigh injury. Today, it was a toe which held out the Ravens’ starting left guard.
I saw Smith walking around team headquarters just a bit ago; the Ravens’ first-round corner is still on crutches and predictably has his left ankle in a boot.
For the Titans, starting strong safety Chris Hope (shoulder) and reserve wide receiver Damien Williams (hamstring) sat out today’s practice.
Starting defensive end William Hayes (shoulder) was limited today, while Tennessee’s other starting defensive end Jason Jones (knee), reserve defensive end Derrick Morgan (knee) and running back Javon Ringer (back) all had a full practice.
