Ed Reed practicing; Evans, Grubbs not

It appears Ed Reed has recovered just fine from a shoulder stinger he suffered against the Jaguars Monday night.

The Ravens' All-Pro safety is taking part in today's late-afternoon practice, as is nose tackle Terrence Cody, who also suffered a shoulder injury against Jacksonville.

Cornerbacks Jimmy Smith (ankle) and Chris Carr (hamstring) are both practicing today, as is safety Tom Zbikowski, who appears to be taking part in full-team drills for the first time since suffering a concussion against the Jets back in Week 4.

Zbikowski was limited in practice last week, but hadn't yet been cleared for contact and was held to individual drills. Just from watching the open media portion of practice, it appears Zbikowski has made progress since we've seen him last.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Lee Evans (ankle) and guard Ben Grubbs (toe) are not practicing again today.

I feel like a broken record on that front.

Also not practicing this afternoon are linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring) and running back Anthony Allen (thigh).
