Evans to miss seventh straight game

Lee Evans' streak of consecutive games missed continues to grow.

Call it the anti-Cal Ripken Jr.

Evans is inactive today, meaning the Ravens' wide receiver will miss his seventh straight game because of a left ankle injury.

The hope is that Evans will be able to play next Sunday against the Bengals. He practiced every day this week, but the team opted to give him another game off.

Linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo is not listed among the Ravens' inactives, meaning he has passed his concussion test and will play today.

Ayanbadejo, the Ravens' special teams ace, will be needed today against dangerous kickoff returner Leon Washington.

Here are the Ravens' inactives: WR Lee Evans, WR Tandon Doss, CB Chykie Brown, RB Anthony Allen, G Bryan Mattison, ILB Dannell Ellerbe and OLB Sergio Kindle.

Both linebacker Terrell Suggs (knee) and safety Ed Reed (shoulder) are active and will play. Those two both missed Thursday's practice but returned on Friday.

Here are the Seahawks' inactives: QB Josh Portis, WR Deon Butler, SS Jeron Johnson, CB Ron Parker, LB David Vobora, OT Jarriel King and TE Cameron Morrah.
