Ray Lewis’ chances of playing Sunday against the Browns appear to be getting slimmer by the day.
Lewis missed practice again today, marking the second straight day the Ravens’ linebacker sat out because of a toe injury. The 12-time Pro Bowler has missed the Ravens’ last two games because of the injury, and it appears likely that Sunday will mark the third-straight contest Lewis will be stuck on the sidelines.
Also missing practice today was cornerback Chris Carr, who has been battling a back injury the last two weeks.
Carr was limited in practice yesterday, but was downgraded to no practice today.
Running back Anthony Allen (hamstring), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring) and defensive tackle Art Jones (concussion) all had a full practice this afternoon.
For the Browns, starting safety T.J. Ward (foot/finger) missed practice again today, while fellow starting safety Mike Adams (shoulder) was upgraded to limited after sitting out yesterday’s session.
Starting right tackle Tony Pashos (ankle) was limited while three more offensive starters - quarterback Colt McCoy (right elbow), running back Peyton Hillis (hamstring) and fullback Owen Marecic (head) - had a full practice.
