Lewis inactive; Cundiff, Kindle will play

Who would've imagined a Ravens-Colts game without both Peyton Manning and Ray Lewis?

That just doesn't seem right to me.

We knew Manning would miss today's game because of a neck injury, and as expected, Lewis will sit out as well because of a lingering toe injury.

It will be Lewis' fourth-straight game missed due to the turf toe.

While Lewis will not suit up today, kicker Billy Cundiff, who was listed as questionable with a left calf injury, will. Cundiff is active and will be handling the kicking duties today despite missing practice on Thursday and Friday.

He appeared to be just fine in pregame warmups, hitting field goals from as far back as 48 yards.

Also active today is linebacker Sergio Kindle, who will play for just the second time this season and the first time in the last eight weeks.

Rejoice, Ravens fans.

Kindle, the Ravens' top 2010 draft pick, apparently has done enough to crack the gameday 46 this week.

Here are the Ravens' inactives: WR LaQuan Williams, WR Tandon Doss, CB Chris Carr, RB Anthony Allen, OLB Chavis Williams, LB Ray Lewis, NT Brandon McKinney.

The Colts get tight end Dallas Clark back today; Clark had missed Indy's last three games because of a fibula injury, but he's active and will play this afternoon.

Here are the Colts' inactives: WR Anthony Gonzalez, QB Peyton Manning, DB Mike Holmes, LB A.J. Edds, LB Kevin Bentley, T Quinn Ojinnaka, DE Jerry Hughes.

The Ravens are in their purple jerseys and white pants today while the Colts are in their all-white unis.

It's another beautiful day here at M&T Bank Stadium. Hope you're all enjoying this late-season sunshine.
