Cameron in Houston to do some scouting

The Texans and Bengals have a special guest in attendance for today's opening playoff game.

Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron will be in Houston and plans to sit in the stands for this afternoon's wild card contest, according to ESPN. Cameron will be doing some advance scouting of the Texans.

The Ravens apparently gave the Texans a courtesy call on this, alerting them to Cameron's presence.

A reminder - if the Texans win today, they will be the team that the Ravens will face next weekend in the divisional round.

If Cincinnati picks up the road win, the Ravens would play the winner of tomorrow's Broncos-Steelers game.

You might wonder whether the Ravens' players plan on watching this weekend's action or if they'll opt to get away from football for a few days.

I wondered that, which is why I asked linebacker Jarret Johnson and quarterback Joe Flacco their plans for wild card weekend.

"Yeah, I'll watch them," Johnson said. "I get a little sick of football this time of year. College, all the bowl games, I can't stand watching them and stuff. (But it's) playoff time; you better believe I will be watching it."

"I'll probably watch them," said Flacco. "You usually end up watching them even on your normal bye week, at least for a little bit. So, (they) should be pretty interesting games, and we'll be able to figure out who we play, possibly on Saturday, if not, on Sunday. So, it'll be fun."

For the record, I'm taking the Bengals, Saints, Giants and Steelers this weekend. Enjoy the games, everyone.
