With the Ravens' season completed, the opponents on the schedule have come to a close. So, with nothing left to write about Baltimore's 2011 opponents, here's another look at the list of the Ravens' 2012 opponents. Hey, it's never too early to start tailgating for next season. Home: Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, New ... read more

I'm guessing the Patriots are willing to buy Billy Cundiff a drink. Nobody in Baltimore is certainly ready to give anything to the Ravens kicker, except maybe some rough physical contact. Cundiff missed the game-tying field goal in the final seconds, clinching a 23-20 win for the top-seeded Patriots. New England moves on to face the winner of the NFC championship between the New York ... read more

We've reached halftime in Foxborough and through two quarters the Patriots hold a 13-10 lead over the Ravens. It's been a so-so half for Tom Brady and Co. but the defense has done a nice job of stopping Baltimore's biggest threat, running back Ray Rice. For Brady, he's made plays, but has made several mistakes, too. He has 146 yards on 14-of-24 passing, but missed ... read more

This doesn't have anything to do with the Ravens, but in light of the team's matchup with the Patriots for the AFC championship, I thought I would pass along current Patriots offensive coordinator and Penn State football coach Bill O'Brien's words on Joe Paterno's passing. "It is with great sadness that I am compelled to deliver this message of condolence and tribute to a great ... read more

He may be the man picked to replace legendary college football coach Joe Paterno, but for now, Bill O'Brien is completely invested in the Patriots. O'Brien is set to take the reigns at Penn State, just as soon as his duties as offensive coordinator for New England are finished. And while he's excited at the opportunity to lead one of college football's most historic - ... read more

It's easy for Ravens fans to take comfort in their team's last playoff showdown against the Patriots. Back in 2009, the Ravens traveled into New England during the AFC wild card round and proceeded to dismantle the home team, 33-14. That game provided the script for how to dominate the Patriots. While the defense allowed 33 points - 24 in the first quarter alone - ... read more

The Ravens have made it to the AFC championship. It wasn't pretty against Houston, but a win is a win. Now, the purple and black are one win away from a trip to the Super Bowl. Standing in their way are the Patriots. Let's take a closer look at 'em, shall we? Earning that top seed: During the regular season the Patriots racked up 13 ... read more

It's a shame T.J. Yates will be remembered for his performance in Baltimore. Yes, he made mistakes, three of them, in fact. Yes, all three were costly, as the first two interceptions led to points for the Ravens, while the other clinched Baltimore's 20-13 victory Sunday. But underneath those glaring miscues is a rookie quarterback, one who began the season as his team's third-string option, ... read more
