On this day, 10 years ago, the Ravens had a pretty big day. So big, that when it was over, they were Super Bowl champions. I was pretty young then, but I still get chills every time I watch the highlights of that game. There's no point to give the play-by-play, everyone remembers what that game was like for the Ravens. It's cool to see

As you probably all know by now, Chuck Pagano will replace Greg Mattison as the Ravens' defensive coordinator. What you may not know is that he has 27 years of coaching experience. Job experience: Pagano started his coaching career in 1984 where he was a graduate assistant at USC. From 1987-88, Pagano coached the outside linebackers at Boise State. In 1990, Pagano joined the UNLV

I have to give some props to David Fleming who writes the Flem File on ESPN Page 2. In his most recent entry, he points out that, by far, the Ravens-Steelers rivalry is the best in sports. He doesn't just credit it to the hard-hitting games and close scores - he looks back on some of the matchup's most interesting moments. For example Fleming points

Joe Flacco: - Flacco joins only Bernie Kosar and Dan Marino as the only quarterbacks to start a playoff game in each of their first three seasons. - If Flacco and the Ravens win this Saturday he'll hold an NFL record for most wins on the road for any quarterback ever in the playoffs. Ray Rice: - Rice's 83-yard run in last season's playoff win

Every Monday, win or lose, John Harbaugh steps infront of the mic to take questions about the game from all of Baltimore's media members. Here are some of the highlights of what went down in today's press conference: How important is winning this week's game for the city since no team from Baltimore has ever defeated a Pittsburgh team in postseason play? "Is that a

I'll let the title of this entry and the video do the talking. We all know about Ed Reed's brother and how hard that must have been to play with him missing. The team knows it too and Derrick Mason presented Reed with the game ball. Reed followed with a touching speech.

1. Since John Harbaugh became head coach in 2008, the Ravens have allowed the NFL's fewest points per game (16.1). 2. Baltimore is the only team to rank in the top five in scoring defense in each of the past three seasons, finishing No. 3 every year. 3. The Ravens allowed a league-low one touchdown after a turnover, permitting just 28 points off 20 turnovers.

What happened the last time the Ravens and Chiefs met? The NFL has highlights of that game here so I won't give away the ending. I pretty much had forgotten how close this game was, and the Matt Cassel had to sit out. A lot has changed since then, for both teams. ESPN also posted their interview with Ray Rice this morning if you want

Every Monday, win or lose, John Harbaugh steps infront of the mic to take questions about the game from all of Baltimore's media members. Here are some of the highlights of what went down in today's press conference: When you say your offense is "really close," is that to an explosive, breakthrough-type game that hasn't been displayed yet? "Well, I think it's been displayed at

It wasn't pretty, but the Ravens got a close win against the Bengals to close out the season. Now it's time to look ahead to the playoffs and not back at the regular season that ended, as some would say, a disappointing 12-4. Disappointing 12-4 doesn't really sound about right to me. I'm not disappointed at all. I'll admit it wasn't pretty, but we're in.
