The Ravens have re-signed running back Matt Lawrence, an exclusive rights free agent, the team announced today.
Lawrence saw action in eight games during the 2009 season before suffering a season-ending knee injury. He was placed on Injured Reserve on Nov. 24.
The Massachusetts product posted 16 special teams tackles last season, had four rushes for 0 yards (with a long of four yards), and one reception for four yards.
The 24-year-old Lawrence was a key special teams player and provided depth in the backfield prior to his injury.
