Derrick Mason is back, and with his return, the Ravens now boast a fairly strong receiving corps.
The Ravens have announced that Mason has signed a two-year contract that will keep the 13-year veteran in Baltimore, and give them a steadily improving group of receivers that also includes Anquan Boldin, Donte' Stallworth and Mark Clayton.
The 36-year-old Mason tested free agency for nearly a week before returning to the Ravens, and in the process, gets the two-year deal that he was after.
GM Ozzie Newsome said that his goal this offseason was to put together an offense that gave quarterback Joe Flacco plenty of options.
Newsome has done just that, and adding another receiver in the draft still remains a good possibility.
