Dwan Edwards has had a busy offseason, making three free agent visits.
Apparently, the most recent one has resulted in a deal with the Bills.
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Buffalo has reached an agreement with the Ravens' free agent defensive lineman. Edwards met with the Bills earlier today, but the team has not yet confirmed the signing.
Edwards had previously visited the Broncos and Seahawks, but left both meetings without a contract. It's been reported that teams were wary of his health; Edwards underwent spinal fusion surgery after missing the 2008 season.
It didn't stop him from putting up a solid 2009 campaign, one which saw him supplant Trevor Pryce as a starter at defensive end and post 50 tackles, one sack and two fumble recoveries.
Edwards' loss would create an even bigger need for the Ravens at D-end, which has already been considered a position the team might target in the draft.
UPDATE: Aaron Wilson of The Carroll County Times and National Football Post has confirmation on the deal from Edwards himself. Wilson reports it's a four-year, $18 million contract.
