Walker leaving town?

Frank Walker has experienced a topsy-turvy ride in Baltimore. It'd be hard to argue otherwise.

According to Walker, who is an unrestricted free agent, that ride soon might be coming to a close.

Walker tweeted yesterday that he's close to signing a deal with a new team.

"sup twitter word seems as if imma be taking the ravens pics down bc i may be a ___________ its a secret i will let u all know when it inked," Walker wrote.

When fellow cornerback Fabian Washington asked him if he was leaving the Ravens (also via Twitter), Walker responded, "you know i dont wanna leave the fam and you know i been talking to papa chuck [secondary coach Chuck Pagano] but you know how the game goes my boi..."

Walker has been a lightening rod for criticism during his time with the Ravens, both from fans and the media. But head coach John Harbaugh has repeatedly defended the veteran cornerback, and stuck with him last season despite a few key pass interference penalties.

Regardless of whether Walker signs elsewhere or ends up staying in Charm City, the Ravens will almost certainly look to add more cornerback depth through the draft next month.
