We've heard a lot about Jermaine Gresham, Kyle Wilson and Devin McCourty over the last couple weeks when discussing the Ravens' options with the 25th pick in the draft.
But one guy who might by flying under the radar a little bit is Penn State defensive lineman Jared Odrick.
Odrick, who was named the Big Ten's Defensive Player of the Year last season, checks in at 6-foot-5, 304 pounds, and has the versatility to play multiple positions along the D-line in a 3-4 scheme.
Viewed as one of the better pass rushers in this year's draft, Odrick would be of great help to a Ravens team that is looking to get more pressure on the quarterback this upcoming season.
Scouts love his motor, and you hear the word "relentless" tossed around quite a bit when Odrick's name is brought up.
In his senior year at Penn State, Odrick had six sacks, 41 tackles (included 10 tackles for loss), one blocked field goal, one blocked pass and three quarterback hurries.
He had an impressive Pro Day last month, running the 40 in 4.95 seconds, and showed off his athleticism at the Combine, where he bench pressed 225 pounds 26 times and posted a 29-inch vertical leap.
With Trevor Pryce now 34-years-old and the newly-signed Cory Redding 29, the Ravens would like to get younger at defensive end. Viewed as a late first-round guy, Odrick could help accomplish that task, and he might be a nice fit with the 25th overall selection.
