Gaither still out but expected back soon

Jared Gaither remains unable to practice because of a cortisone shot in his foot, but Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said today that the offensive tackle was at team headquarters and is still getting his work in.

Harbaugh didn't give an exact timetable for Gaither's return, but said that the team expects him back at practice sometime soon.

"Basically, he got the shot. You've got to take time to let it settle down and let it heal," Harbaugh said. "You can't do that twice so we'll probably take our time. I talked to him this morning. I think he's anxious to get back in practice."

Gaither also received an orthodic for his shoe that hopefully will help him get through the injury.

With Gaither out of practice and Oniel Cousins also out because he was sick, Marshal Yanda continued to fill it at right tackle. Chris Chester took over at Yanda's right tackle spot with the first team.
