A Frank Walker update

The Omaha Nighthawks might want Frank Walker, but Frank Walker does not want the Omaha Nighthawks.

Walker, the former Ravens cornerback who is currently an unrestricted free agent, was drafted by the Nighthawks in the 10th round of the United Football League draft on Wednesday.

Yesterday, after getting the news that he had been selected by a team in the minor professional football league, Walker went on his Twitter account and made it clear that he has no interest in suiting up for a squad that does not play its ball in the NFL.

"Wassup so i just heard i got drafted to a UFL team which was Hilarous," Walker wrote. "Omaha night hawks...No I will not be playing there."

Walker has been a target of Ravens fans the last two seasons because of his sometimes overly physical play, but head coach John Harbaugh has publicly supported the cornerback on multiple occasions.

The seven-year veteran hasn't drawn much buzz around the NFL so far this offseason, but he doesn't see the UFL as a backup plan if he doesn't catch on with an NFL squad.

"It not an option," Walked tweeted. "NFL or bust baby."
