The Ravens have started to put together their practice squad, which can consist of eight players.
Here are the six who have been signed to the developmental roster at this point: TE Davon Drew, WR Justin Harper, C Bryan Mattison, LB Albert McClellan, CB Curtis Steele, OT Devin Tyler.
The Ravens also officially announced the signing of CB Bryan McCann and the corresponding cut of CB Prince Miller.
The team is expected to sign Miller to the practice squad, assuming he clears waivers.
If you need a refresher on the eligibility rules for practice squads, here you go:
Players who do not have an accrued season of free-agency credit or who were on the 45-player active list for fewer than nine games in their only accrued season(s) are eligible for the practice squad. A player cannot participate on the practice squad for more than three seasons.
UPDATE: The Ravens have also signed former Panthers QB Hunter Cantwell to their practice squad, according to WPSD Sports in Kentucky and Cantwell's father's Twitter account.
The Ravens saw Cantwell in person in the preseason opener when they took on the Panthers. The Louisville product, who was signed by Carolina as an undrafted free agent last year, went 6-for-17 for 68 yards in that game.
