I passed along an injury update on running back Ray Rice, now it's time for your Monday injury update on defensive end Cory Redding and offensive tackle Jared Gaither.
Well, actually, there isn't much to update.
Head coach John Harbaugh said that Redding, who suffered a concussion in yesterday's win over the Browns, has yet to be evaluated today, and the Ravens don't know anything new about his status.
"I haven't gotten a read on him yet," Harbaugh said. "I don't know yet. I don't think they've done the tests yet. We don't practice until Wednesday, so they'll probably give it a little time to clear up."
If Redding isn't able to play on Sunday against the Steelers, that might create an opening for either second-year defensive end Paul Kruger or rookie nose tackle Terrence Cody, neither of whom has been active for a game yet this season.
More on that in a few.
Meanwhile, Harbaugh was asked his weekly Gaither health question of the week, and said that he didn't have anything new to pass along on the offensive tackle's back injury.
"I haven't had a chance to talk to him or the trainers yet, so I don't know," Harbaugh said.
It's now been nearly two months since Gaither last took part in practice on August 5.
