There's lots of purple, black and pink on display here today at M&T Bank Stadium, as the Ravens are using today's game against the Broncos to support breast cancer awareness month.
Players are sporting pink cleats, gloves, towels, hats and other accessories. The padding around the goalposts is pink, and there's a pink ribbon displayed on the giant video boards at each end of the stadium.
The inactive list has just been handed to me, and here's how it reads for the Ravens:
DT Lamar Divens, OT Jared Gaither, LB Tavares Gooden, DT Arthur Jones, OL Scott Kooistra, DE Paul Kruger, TE Dennis Pitta and WR Donte' Stallworth.
No big surprises there, but Pitta, the Ravens' rookie third-string tight end, is inactive for the first time this season.
The Ravens also are keeping all five of their cornerbacks active today, as they know that Denver will be showing lots of four and possibly five wide receiver sets this afternoon.
Here are the Broncos' inactives:
QB Brady Quinn, CB Syd'Quan Thompson, RB Knowshon Moreno, FB Spencer Larsen, OL Stanley Daniels, OL Eric Olsen, OL Chris Clark, and WR Eric Decker.
With Quinn inactive, that means that Tim Tebow will be the Broncos' backup quarterback today. I look forward to seeing some jump passes and Wildcat tickeration, and perhaps an inspirational halftime speech if the Broncos are behind.
Starting CB Andre Goodman, who was listed as questionable for today's game, will play for Denver today.
The Ravens will wear their purple jerseys and white pants today, while the Broncos are in their all white unis.
