The Ravens have a 10-7 lead early in the second quarter after they've traded scores with Dolphins through the first 16 minutes. Not sure if the defenses didn't get the memo that the game starts at 1 p.m., or if
Baltimore took the opening kickoff and marched 76 yards for a touchdown, capped off by Willis McGahee's sparkling 32-yard TD catch and run.
McGahee juked about three Dolphins to the turf on his run, and used a big block from wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh to scoot into the end zone.
Miami responded with a 75-yard drive of their own, in which running back Ronnie Brown gashed the Baltimore defense for 45 yards on six carries.
Brown had holes the size of tractor trailers to run through, and Brown was able to run the ball right up the gut. Nothing fancy, just a dominating drive by the Dolphins' offensive line.
The issues with the Ravens' run defense continue.
Baltimore was able to regain the lead on their next possession when Billy Cundiff booted through a 26-yard field goal.
We'll see if this point scoring frenzy continues, or if the defenses are able to get their act together.
