Ray Rice looked like he had given the Ravens 21-point lead with a 76-yard touchdown reception mid-way through the third quarter, but the play was brought back because of a block in the back penalty whistled against wide receiver Anquan Boldin.
Boldin looked like he slightly turned around the Bucs defender, but the flag was a questionable one at best. At worst, it was a very poor call.
On the ensuing Tampa Bay drive, Cory Redding appeared to have his first career interception, one which would have given the Ravens possession at the Bucs 11-yard line and a chance to tack on some extra points.
The Buccaneers challenged the call, claiming that Redding never had full possession of the ball before having it fall out of his grasp. They won the challenge, and retained possession.
This game could easily be 31-3 right now if those plays had turned out differently. Instead, the Ravens are up 14 going into the final 15 minutes, and they're facing a Bucs team which has outscored its opponents 63-29 in the fourth quarter this season.
