Back in black

For the first time in the John Harbaugh era, the Ravens are going with an all-black look today.

They're sporting their black jerseys and black pants this afternoon, a look which many fans enjoy (as do I), but is not a favorite of Harbaugh.

Maybe, it being the holiday season and all, the head coach has decided to give a little gift to his fanbase by going with the black-on-black.

The Saints will be wearing their white jerseys and black pants today.

Former Ravens cornerback Samari Rolle was down in the field a few minutes ago, smiling and joking with the Ravens' defensive backs and saying hi to various team personnel.

Rolle got a very warm welcome from Harbaugh and team owner Steve Bisciotti, who both gave the Pro Bowl corner a big hug.

Also on the sidelines pregame is former Washington Bullets center Gheorghe Muresan. "My Giant" was also here for the Steelers game two weeks ago.

He must love him some Ravens football.

With his start today, linebacker Jarret Johnson will tie Peter Boulware for most consecutive games played as a Raven. Johnson will match Boulware's mark of 111 straight games played.

The Baltimore defense will get the individual introductions today, and the offense will get them in the regular season finale against the Bengals.

That means that, more than likely, today will be the final time those of us at M&T Bank Stadium will see Ray Lewis' "Hot in Herre" dance.
