As I prepare for my New Years Eve, here's today's injury report for the Ravens and Bengals.
Both tight end Todd Heap (hamstring) and wide receiver/kick returner David Reed (wrist/concussion) are listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
Heap sounded optimistic about playing against the Bengals, while Reed seemed to imply that he was more of a gametime decision with his wrist injury.
The Ravens have ruled out both linebacker Tavares Gooden (shoulder) and safety Tom Zbikowski (back). Neither player practiced at all this week.
Six Ravens are probable - center Matt Birk (knee), linebacker Prescott Burgess (illness), wide receiver Derrick Mason (ankle/abs), tight end Dennis Pitta (concussion), safety Ed Reed (neck) and cornerback Fabian Washington (back).
Cincinnati has officially ruled wide receiver Chad Ochocinco out with an ankle injury. Ochocinco said earlier in the week that he will not be making the trip to Baltimore.
Rookie tight end Jermaine Gresham (knee) is listed as doubtful after missing practice every day this week.
Starting cornerback Johnathan Joseph (ankle) and reserve linebacker Dan Skuta (back) are listed as questionable, while defensive end Carlos Dunlap (shoulder) and running back Bernard Scott (toe) are probable.
That's it for today; hope everyone has a safe and fun New Years Eve.
Talk to you all in 2011.
