Former Bullets center Gheorghe Muresan is here tonight, towering over everyone on the Ravens' sideline.
This Ravens-Steelers matchup really brings the stars out.
The Ravens are wearing purple uniforms and black pants tonight. They definitely haven't gone with that color scheme since I've been covering the team, and from what I hear, it's actually been quite a few years since the purple and black were brought out in tandem.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the look, but who knows, it might grow on me as the night goes on.
There was actually a pretty cool moment here in the press box a few minutes ago, as Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti came in to say hi to Steelers owner Dan Rooney, who, at the time, was seated a row behind me.
I felt a need to straight up in my chair and make sure I was on my best behavior. Quit the jokes, Mr. Kolko. Some important people are nearby.
The attempted "Purple Out" throughout M&T Bank Stadium is flopping tonight, although it's not necessarily because fans didn't care or think to wear their purple jerseys.
The problem with the all-purple idea is the weather. Personally, I don't know anyone with a purple jacket, and while some fans might be able to fit their jerseys on top of their winter coat, many haven't opted to try that.
Maybe September is a better time of year to give the "Purple Out" a shot.
We're getting close to kickoff. The offense will get the individual intros tonight, which, I'm sure, is to the chagrin of many fans.
Ray Lewis will not be doing his pregame dance tonight, folks. But who knows, maybe Joe Flacco will give it a shot in Ray's place.
