Ben Roethlisberger's right foot has been a topic of much discussion this week.
Initially, the Steelers were calling Roethlisberger's foot injury a sprain.
The quarterback would certainly tough it out, what with the Steelers facing the Ravens on Sunday Night Football this weekend.
Today, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Roethlisberger's injury was, in fact, a broken foot and not a sprain.
The Steelers subsequently released a statement which said that Roethlisberger's injury is actually an aggravation of an old injury where scar tissue is present, and that it's not a new break.
Regardless of whether it's a sprain, a new break, or just an aggravation of a previous injury, those in Pittsburgh believe that Roethlisberger will be able to play Sunday against the Ravens and he won't be affected by whatever is ailing him.
All we can do for now is wonder how much of that is wishful thinking and spin, or whether we'll see the real Big Ben Sunday night when the Steelers enter M&T Bank Stadium.
