Ed Reed had a full practice yesterday and wasn't even listed on the Ravens' injury report.
Today, the All-Pro safety didn't practice at all because of a neck injury.
Reed suffered a stinger in his shoulder/neck area Monday night against the Jaguars, but he returned to the game. The safety spoke with reporters today and didn't appear to be in much - if any - pain prior to practice.
My guess (and it's just a guess) is that the Ravens opted to give Reed the day off today. I find it tough to believe that he'll miss Sunday's game against the Cardinals, but it's tough to say for sure.
Four other Ravens missed practice today: wide receiver Lee Evans (ankle), guard Ben Grubbs (toe), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring) and running back Anthony Allen (thigh).
Cornerback Danny Gorrer made a new appearance on the injury report today; Gorrer was limited today with a thigh injury.
Cornerback Chris Carr (hamstring) was upgraded to full participation, while safety Tom Zbikowski (concussion) also had a full practice.
For the Cardinals, linebacker Joey Porter (knee) and safety Kerry Rhodes (foot) did not practice for a second straight day.
Tight end Todd Heap was limited again today, while running back Beanie Wells (knee) was upgraded to limited participation after missing yesterday's session.
