PITTSBURGH - Ben Grubbs has missed the Ravens' last six games with a toe injury, but the fifth-year guard appears on track to play tonight against the Steelers.
Grubbs is not listed among the Ravens' seven inactives for tonight's game. He will suit up, and looks likely to start.
That's obviously great news for a Ravens offensive line which has struggled mightily of late.
Also active for Baltimore tonight is undrafted rookie linebacker Chavis Williams, who was promoted from the practice squad yesterday.
That shows just where Sergio Kindle is at this point; the 2010 second-round pick is inactive tonight, while an undrafted rookie linebacker who was on the practice squad until just over 24 hours ago is active and will play.
Here are the Ravens' inactives: WR Tandon Doss, CB Chykie Brown, RB Anthony Allen, LB Dannell Ellerbe, WR Lee Evans, TE Kris Wilson, LB Sergio Kindle.
For the Steelers, linebacker James Farrior, who was listed as questionable, is inactive. He will join outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley on the sidelines tonight, as Woodley is also inactive.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh's other banged up starting outside linebacker - James Harrison - will play tonight. Harrison has missed the last four games with an eye injury, but he will be in uniform against the Ravens.
So will wide receiver Hines Ward, who was questionable with an ankle injury. Ward will play, while fellow wideout Emmanuel Sanders will not.
Pittsburgh's inactives are as follows: QB Dennis Dixon, LB James Farrior, LB LaMarr Woodley, C Doug Legursky, OT Jamon Meredith, NT Chris Hoke, WR Emmanuel Sanders.
The Ravens are in their all-white unis tonight, also known as the Super Bowl look. We don't see the white jerseys, white pants look often from the Ravens, but every time I do see it, I think back to the Super Bowl against the Giants in 2001.
We'll see throwback unis from the Steelers tonight; all-yellow helmets, black jerseys and white pants.
