Nolan Reimold said he’ll “ease” his way into the lineup as part of his progression and described the feeling in his Achilles as “an expected soreness.”
“It’s nothing to be worried about,” he said.
“You don’t want to overdo it. You never know what could happen. Better safe than sorry.”
Reimold said he’s still trying not to run at “full full speed.”
Meanwhile, Brad Bergesen threw 45 pitches off the mound today. He’s scheduled to throw a batting practice session Friday and Sunday and said he could pitch in a game “sometime mid-week.”
