Ryan Flaherty was 0-for-17 before his single in the ninth inning inning last night. Dating back to Sept. 28, 2012, he was hitless for 29 straight regular season at-bats.
Flaherty is 2-for-5 against Aceves, but he's on the bench tonight.
Jones is 6-for-18 (.333) with a home run. Hardy is 3-for-18 (.167). Wieters is 1-for-12 (.083). Nolan Reimold is 1-for-10 (.100). Davis is 2-for-12 (.167).
Tillman is 1-1 with a 2.88 ERA in five career starts against the Red Sox, allowing eight earned runs in 25 innings. He's posted two quality starts. Last year, he went 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in three starts, allowing four earned runs in 18 2/3 innings.
In his two career starts at Fenway Park, Tillman is 0-0 with a 0.82 ERA, with one earned run over 11 innings.
Pedroia is 4-for-11 (.364) against Tillman.

The Orioles activated Triple-A Norfolk left-hander Rich Rundles from the disabled list and released him.
