The Orioles have recorded just six hits in the first two games of this series, batting .101 (6-for-59). They have one extra-base hit in the two games after entering the series with a streak of 34 consecutive games with at least two extra-base hits.

He’s hit in 15 of his last 16 road games, going 29-for-75 (.387) with eight doubles, two homers, nine RBIs and 11 runs scored. Machado has the most hits on the road in the majors with 54.

Draft review: The Orioles made a total of 41 selections in the 2013 First-Year Player Draft. The club chose 14 high school players and 27 college players.
