Bud Norris is making his third start for the Orioles. According to STATS, he ranks fifth in the American League with a .188 (13-for-69) opponents’ average with runners in scoring position since June 1.
Norris has worked at least five innings in all but one start in 2013 and has limited his opponents to three earned runs or fewer in 18 of his 23 starts. He’s made 15 quality starts, and 14 of his last 18.
Norris is a career .142 hitter, going 24-for-169 with five doubles and 10 RBIs.
