Orioles lineup vs. Angels

Mark Trumbo has come off the disabled list today and is in the Orioles lineup. Left-hander Donnie Hart was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk.

The Orioles will try to get back to .500 today after last night’s 3-2 loss in Anaheim. They remain 1 ½ games back for the second wild card.

gausman-back-gray-sidebar.jpgKevin Gausman is making his team-leading 25th start of the season. He’s 1-1 with a 4.66 ERA in three career starts against the Angels and 0-1 with a 5.11 ERA in two starts in Anaheim over 12 1/3 innings.

Mike Trout is 3-for-8 with a home run against Gausman. Luis Valbuena is 3-for-4 with two home runs.

Gausman will try to extend his streak of quality starts to five. He’s allowed only two runs in his last 27 2/3 innings.

Rookie Troy Scribner is making his fourth major league appearance and second start. He’s allowed four earned runs (seven total) and five hits in eight innings, with five walks, five strikeouts and two home runs.
