O's starter David Hernandez gave up three runs and three hits over four innings and took the loss as the Chicago White Sox beat the Orioles 4-1 Saturday to even the series.

Carlos Quentin's solo homer in the 2nd gave Chicago a 1-0 lead and it grew to 3-0 in the 4th on RBI from Alexei Ramirez and Mark Kotsay.

The O's cut a 4-0 lead to 4-1 in the 7th. Luke Scott drew a leadoff walk and later scored on a wild pitch.
