Brian Matusz will start on the mound for the Orioles and Jason Berken for Norfolk. Matusz made nine starts for the Tides last year, going 2-3 with a 3.46 ERA.

This is the third time the Orioles have played here at Harbor Park. The Orioles played the Washington Nationals here in 2007 and 2009.

The Orioles plane just landed at the airport a few minutes ago so they should soon be in route to the park for their final exhibition with Jake Arrieta set to pitch the opener on Friday afternoon.

The Tides still have not posted a roster but we’ll get that shortly. It remains in flux as they have about two or three players over the minimum and the Orioles still have at least one move to make by today’s 5 p.m deadline to set their 25-man roster.

I’ll have some pregame notes and quotes later and O’s manager Buck Showalter is expected to talk with reporters at about 1 p.m.
