The Orioles have set break camp rosters for each minor league affiliate. The final and official opening day rosters will be announced later next week.
The four opening night starters will be Zach Clark for Triple-A Norfolk, Mike Wright at Double-A Bowie, Devin Jones at Single-A Frederick and Parker Bridwell for Single-A Delmarva.
An earlier entry on this was deleted in a brilliant move by yours truly and is now being recreated so keep checking back for more.
Cuban outfielder Henry Urrutia is not listed here and it appears he still has to finalize some paperwork before he can play in the regular season. It is possible that won’t happen in time for him to be with a club for opening day.
Of the 26 players listed on Norfolk’s break camp roster, 22 have big league experience including 11 of the 13 listed pitchers.
Pitchers: Jairo Asencio, Mike Belfiore, Zach Britton, Zach Clark, Manny Delcarmen, Rob Delaney, Freddy Garcia, Mark Hendrickson, Jair Jurrjens, Daniel McCutchen, Scott Proctor, Adam Russell, Daniel Schlereth
Catchers: Luis Exposito, Chris Robinson
Infielders: Russ Canzler, Travis Ishikawa, Yamaico Navarro, Niuman Romero, Jonathan Schoop, Danny Valencia
Outfielders: Chris Dickerson, L.J Hoes, Conor Jackson, Jason Pridie, Trayvon Robinson
Schoop, who makes his Triple-A debut, is expected to play some at both shortstop and second base with the Tides. Navarro will also play both spots and it could turn out to be about a 50-50 split. They may not alternate games, but rather each player would play a few games at one of the positions and them move to the other for the next few games.
Pitchers: Tim Bascom, Tom Boleska, Dylan Bundy, Eddie Gamboa, Kevin Gausman, Sean Gleason, Jason Gurka, Andy Loomis, Julio Rodriguez, Chris Petrini, Jake Pettit, Clayton Schrader, David Walters, Mike Wright, Zech Zinicola
Catchers: Luis Martinez, Brian Ward
Infielders: Aaron Baker, Caleb Joseph, Ty Kelly, Garabez Rosa, Brandon Waring, Zelous Wheeler
Outfielders: Xavier Avery, Buck Britton, Lew Ford, Kyle Hudson
Joseph is listed with the infielders but also will catch some this year. He could also play at first base or left field as he moves around and provides some versatility on defense. The Baysox have several players that can play multiple positions including Britton and Kelly also.
Waring has been dealing with an oblique injury but the O’s are hopeful he’ll be fine by Thursday’s opener.
Avery and Hudson can both play in center for the Baysox. Hudson also may get some starts in left field.
Pitchers: Jesse Beal, Eric Beaulac, Tim Berry, Matt Bischoff, Zach Davies, Gene Escat, Zach Fowler, Trent Howard, Devin Jones, Zach Petersime, Marcel Prado, Eduardo Rodriguez, Tyler Wilson
Catchers: Zane Chavez, Allan de San Miguel, Michael Ohlman

Here are the pitchers listed to start at each affiliate although we don’t have yet the rotation order for each club. Delmarva, Frederick and Bowie will begin with six-man rotations.
Norfolk: Clark, Jurrjens, Britton, Garcia
Bowie: Wright, Bundy, Gausman, Rodriguez, Pettit, Gamboa
Frederick: Jones, Rodriguez, Berry, Davies, Wilson, Petersime
Delmarva: Bridwell, Kline, Hader, Blackmar, Taylor, Wager
Here is where the players listed on Baseball America’s top 10 prospects list are starting:
1 - Bundy, Bowie
2 - Gausman, Bowie
3 - Schoop, Norfolk
4 - Delmonico, Frederick
5 - E. Rodriguez, Frederick
6 - Hoes, Norfolk
7 - Avery, Bowie
8 - Wright, Bowie
9 - Kline, Delmarva
10 - Marin, Delmarva
All four affiliates with have use of a fourth coach this year. Jose Hernandez was announced earlier as the fourth coach with Norfolk where he will work with the infielders and coach third base for manager Ron Johnson.
Scott Thomas will help in a coaching role at Bowie and work with catchers. He is the son of Orioles’ vice president Lee Thomas. Kyle Moore will help the Frederick staff and work with catchers. Shawn Roof, who played at Double-A with Detroit in 2012, will help at Delmarva and work with the infielders.
It sounds like the Orioles are finished with player releases for now in the minors.
