Winning pitcher A.J. Burnett picked up his 9th win as the Yankees beat the Orioles 6-4 Wednesday afternoon to complete a three-game sweep.
The O's are 0-6 at New York this season and have lost ten straight games in the Bronx.
Burnett is now 9-4, 3.74. He gave up two runs in seven innings. Over his last seven starts, he is 5-1, 1.93.
Alex Rodriguez and Robinson Cano had RBI singles in the first for New York and a two-run single by Nick Swisher capped the four-run first inning.

Jorge Posada's solo homer in the 3rd made it a 5-0 lead. He added an RBI double in the 8th.
The O's scored twice in the 7th on a Nick Markakis sac fly and a wild pitch. The Orioles scored just nine runs in the three-game series.
Adam Jones and Nick Markakis hit back-to-back homers off Brian Bruney with two outs in the ninth to pull the O's within 6-4. Jones went 4 for 5 on the day.
Mariano Rivera came on for the last out and recorded his 28th save.
Jason Berken pitched better after the first, but took the loss, falling to 1-8, 6.55. He gave up five runs over six frames.
The O's fall to 12 games under .500 for the first time in 2009. They are 1-5 on this road trip which continues Friday night at Boston.
