Miguel Gonzalez is finishing this season well and, as he makes his last start of 2013 tonight, he'd like to add one more good outing to that.
Gonzalez is 10-8 with an ERA of 3.94 for the season over 29 games, 27 starts. In four September starts, he is 2-1 with a 2.96 ERA and a .198 batting average against.
He has been solid against the Blue Jays in 2013, going 2-1 with a 2.96 ERA over four starts. In seven career games, he is 3-2 with a 3.51 ERA against Toronto.
Lefty Mark Buehrle, who is 12-9 with a 4.09 ERA over 32 starts, makes the start for Toronto. He is 7-7 with a 3.29 ERA over 20 career games against Baltimore.

* After scoring just 13 runs total during a six-game losing streak, the O's offense broke out last night in the 9-5 win. They ended their 21-game streak of scoring five or fewer runs. The club record is 26 games and the current streak was the longest since 1992.
* Ryan Flaherty hit his first Eutaw Street homer last night in the third inning. It was the 11th hit there this season, extending the record for most in one year.
* The O's and Blue Jays have split 18 games and tonight's winner takes the season series. The Orioles are 5-3 at home against Toronto and 12-5 at home versus the Jays since the start of last year.
* Adam Jones can start a new games played streak tonight. He sat out Wednesday night, snapping his streak of 322 consecutive games played.
